Eclectik Soul, "Live at The Alamo", proved to be one of the most awesome shows yet!! Eclectik Soul performed live at the Alamo Theatre in Jackson, MS on August 20th, and the community is still buzzing about this momentous event! Each and every aspect of this show from the dancers, skaters, two-steppers, to the captivating sounds/ words of the opening acts (MUGABEE, Olamide Faison, and Sunni Paterson) and Eclectik Soul. It was like being on, "Price is Right" with a surprise waiting behind each door! DVDS of this performance will be available for sale soon, so keep checking this site for updates!

Eclectik Soul is back in full effect with the release of their second album, "Rising" which was produced by Greg Stewart and Shaunte' Chapman. This album is definitely destined to impact the masses with its limitless mixture of creativity. It will be available for purchase online at cdbaby.com in about a week, and will be selling fast, so make sure you reserve your copy!

As I write this entry, my heart is heavy, but full of joy at the same time. By day, I am an Occupational Therapist rehabilitating patients with many illnesses, injuries, and disabilities, and by night I am Manager of Eclectik Soul. The purpose for this entry is to inform as many people I know who are tied to Eclectik Soul in any way, to pray for my patient by the name of Nicole Marquez. She is a 25-year-old dancer originating from Jackson, MS, but relocated to New York to pursue her dream of dancing on broadway. She fell off her 5-story roof about a month ago and was broken up in several places. Nicole was initially not able to move her legs, and could weakly move her arms. As of today, Nicole has gained some movement in her legs, can comb her hair, brush her teeth, and has enough determination and spirit to fill up 20 football fields. Not to mention, she loves Eclectik Soul, especially Greg! Eclectik Soul may be participating in one of the several benefit rallys being held for Nicole in November. (I will keep you posted.) So, add her to your prayer lists and continue sending the prayers up daily. She is an inspiration to me and to Eclectik Soul that nothing is impossible.-Tarah Manney-Stewart, Manager

This is our first official "blog" or news entry on our website and what better way to kick things off than with some very exciting news! We made our first international sale today to a fan in Tokyo! Our mission is to touch lives all over the world with the message in our music, and that one sale has shown us that our mission is possible. Through God all things are possible if you believe! And of course we can't forget our friends and family who have supported us at home. Thanks for all the support (and cd sales!)
